This mold measures about 3″ in diameter and features two Angelic carolers. The images that this mold produces are very dimensional and detailed from the Angels curly hair to the feathers in their wings. The carolers, singing by candle light, are bordered by a border that is decorated with pine and berries. The carving was done on very grainy wood, thus giving the unique look that it does. Notice the grain on the back of the book. This is a beautiful image and a produces a great sized cookie. This mold has grooves on its sides to assist in lifting it from the dough. This mold is #75 and sells for $37.81. A clear or color tinted copy of this mold will cost an extra $4.73.

This mold measures about 3 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ and features the Holy Family; Joseph, Mary and the Christ Child. The images all show good depth and great details. The main image is set into a frame that resembles a picture frame. The outer frame is decorated with pine details. This is truly a very beautiful image and the cookie produced from this mold is a great size that will be well received. This mold has grooves on its sides to assist in lifting it from the dough. This mold is #230 and sells for $46.20. Clear and color copies of this mold will cost an additional $5.78.

This mold measures about 5 3/8″ in diameter and features a seaside scene where it appears that Jesus is inviting a man, who’s using a draw knife (perhaps he’s building a boat?), to come and follow Him. In the distance two men in boats can be seen casting a net into the water. Many buildings can be seen, along with palm trees and other foliage. There are clouds and birds also. The scene is bordered by a beautiful leaf design. This mold can be used for both cookies and confections and has a groove around its side to aid in lifting after pressing. This mold is #1894 and sells for $62.04. Clear and tinted copies of this mold will cost an extra $7.76.

This mold features Saint Hubert (Hubertus) and measures about 4 3/8″ in diameter. St. Hubert (c. 656 – c.727) was passionate about hunting and was said to have had a conversion experience while hunting a stag on a Good Friday. This mold has images of St. Hubert, the stag with a crucifix between its antlers, hunting dogs, a horse and a church. The images are detailed and I would say have good depth but some may appear “soft” in appearance. The scene is framed with a round decorative border that lends to the overall appearance and beauty of this mold. This mold is #2407 and sells for $46.87. Clear and tinted copies of this mold will cost an extra $5.86.

This mold measures 7 3/8″ x 4 1/4″ and has 6 individual images that measure about 2” in diameter each. The images depicting 6 scenes in the life of Christ are all very detailed and crisp and have good depth and dimension. These will produce a very good sized cookie or confection. This mold is item #2327 and sells for $49.50. Clear and tinted copies of this mold will cost an extra $6.19.

This mold depicting the crucifixion of Christ measures about 3 3/8” in diameter and has great depth and dimension. This mold produces a beautiful cookie that is palmed sized but packed with detail. Those that received a cookie of this image this past week were in awe of the detail and its overall beauty. The original mold that this image was taken from is much larger as it is a 2 image mold that was most likely designed for Lebkuchen or Spekulatius. The original mold dates to about 1720 and came from Ulm Germany and now resides in the Sara B. Carlisle collection here in America. This mold is #401 and sells for $41.95.
***********************************************
This mold is a smaller version of #401 and depicts the crucifixion of Christ. It measures about 2 7/8” in diameter with the image measuring about 1 13/16″. This mold produces a beautiful cookie or confection with great depth and dimension that is a one to two bite size. Folks that have seen the cookies have marveled at the beauty of the design and the amount of details on such a small scale. It has taken us quite some time to achieve this mold as the design was taken from a much larger mold. We’ve added a good size border and a groove around the side of the mold to assist in lifting up off of your dough. I have used this mold to produce cookies that were only as thick as saltine crackers. Very crisp. This mold would also work well with your craft projects. The mold is #493 and sells for $36.91. It’s available in clear or color tinted for an extra $3.60.

This mold of Samson fighting a lion measures about 3 1/2″ in diameter and produces a very nice deep detailed image. The original wooden mold was sent to us from Champvert France. Because this image does not have very fine details I would not only use it for Springerle, but for Gingerbread and Spekulatius cookies as well. This cookie would go over great in your Sunday school class. This mold is #1671 and sells for $33.45.

This mold measures about 6 3/16″ in diameter with the image measuring about 4 1/4″ x 4 5/8″. A very beautiful and meaningful motif. The cross and anchor symbolize Christian belief and hope. The daisy is said to be a symbol of the innocence of the Christ Child. I am not certain of the meaning behind the other flower that looks like a trumpet vine. This mold has a groove around its side to assist in lifting it up off your dough. This is a good sized deep mold that I believe could be used for a filled cookie or confection such as a Marzipan-filled gingerbread. I’ve used it for cookies, using Springerle cookie dough. It could also be used to produce a cake topper. The original mold was used in a bakery in the German town of Königsberg where Königsberg marzipan was made. This mold is #1935 and sells for $63.19. Clear and color copies of this mold will cost an additional $7.90. This mold is also available in a smaller size (#494).
Note: Königsberg marzipan is known for its flamed surface, which results in a golden-brown finish. It contains rose water and is often filled with jam.

For size comparison: Cookie made with mold #1935 Königsberg Heart and a cookie made with mold #494 SMALL Königsberg Heart .

This interesting interpretation of the scene of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden measures about 7″ x 4″. The serpent is curled around the tree trunk and its head is among the leaves. The serpent has a beautiful face of a woman as opposed to the typical serpent face. It was tradition into the 1700’s to accept that the serpent had a human face (usually a woman’s) so Eve would be easier to deceive. The tree leaves and bark are nicely detailed and the fruit in the tree is easily seen. There are grooves on the sides of this mold to assist in removing it from the dough. The original mold is reported to have been carved sometime in the 1600’s to 1700’s. This mold is #2000 and sells for $60.48. Clear and tinted copies of this mold will cost an extra $9.15.
***********************************************
This mold measures about 2″ x 1 5/8” and features a cross with an anchor and flaming heart. The symbolism is rich in this motif. The cross symbolizes and memorializes Christ’s death, the anchor is hope in the faithfulness of God and a flaming heart shining with divine light. The images stand out well and the mold prints very well with good depth and dimension. This mold is #1694 and sells for $19.45. Clear and tinted copies of this mold will cost an extra $2.43.

The two Angels are heralding the message “Ehre sei Gott in der Höhe” which translates into “Glory to God in the Highest”. The border on this mold delivers a very attractive frame for the pictured image. I’m told that the original mold came from a family estate in Carinthia, Austria. Their household was steeped in tradition and this mold had hung on the wall for generations. This mold is #1504 and sells for $23.50. Clear and tinted copies of this mold will cost an extra $2.94.

This mold measures about 9 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ and will produce a cookie that measures about 8 1/4” x 4 1/2”. The image is very beautiful, dimensional, deep, nicely detailed and very accurate with proportions. The mold carries the number 21 and the initials J?B. The image looks to be that of Christ. Here is what some folks sent to me about the symbolism: The right hand is raised in a gesture of benediction. The 3 fingers up represent the Holy Trinity and the 2 fingers down represent the 2 natures of Christ. He also holds the globus cruciger (cross-bearing orb) showing Christ’s dominion over the world. His head is surrounded by a halo of radiant light (rather than the typical round disc or circle halo) which depicts a holy person. Now, the hat threw me but it looks similar to that of the one wore by the Holy Infant of Atocha. Due to the sheep at his feet the image certainly looks to be Jesus as the Good Shepherd. Keep in mind that this mold can also produce great paper castings and other works of art for you. This mold is #1727 and sells for $74.46. A clear or color tint copy of this mold will cost an extra $9.31. The original mold, which dates to around 1800, was used in a bakery in the Alsace area of France. This mold now resides in a small private collection here in America.
